JM_photo_FreedI am a Health Policy Fellow at the National Pharmaceutical Council and Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy. I earned my PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University in May 2018 and completed a postdoc at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.

I evaluate policy-relevant questions focusing on health insurance and health care access from the provider perspective. My research agenda focuses on detailing and quantifying the effectiveness of innovative care delivery methods in advancing the field toward equitable healthcare access.
